I’m Aidan Johnston, a filmmaker and camera operator based on the Gold Coast, Australia. I work across commercials, brand films, campaigns and film and TV marketing content, working directly with brands and alongside agencies and production teams to bring their ideas to screen.

From a standalone film to a suite of campaign and social assets, I work directly with clients from concept to the final edit. For agency and production work, I fit into the team, understand the creative direction and take care of the shoot. My focus is the same: understand the brief, plan the shoot, get the shots and make a film that delivers.

My background spans automotive, sport and lifestyle, with work across brand campaigns, storytelling and polished event social content. I’ve worked on projects for Netflix, Amazon MGM Studios, Legendary Pictures and Bazmark, and with brands including Porsche Australia, ROH Wheels, Red Bull Australia, Ampol Australia and Michelin, through direct engagements and collaborations with production teams.
